Ecosystem services, such as water purification, water storage, and water retention can potentially be combined with Carbon credits to create Eco credits. Developed during the Carbon Connects project, the concept arises from the idea that wet agriculture provides additional services beyond CO2 emission reduction, including water storage, water retention and water purification.
