Drawing Competition
To celebration World Peatlands Day on June 2nd a drawing competition was organized on the topic of peatlands and children outdoor playing in peatland areas. Children from primary school age were invited to join with any medium of their own choice (oil pastels, watercolor, acrylic, etc.)
All children participating received a certificate. The ‘Open Garden’ school won the competition and they were offered an excursion with picknick and outdoor activities for all pupils.
The drawings are currently exhibited in the PEATland Museum.
