Last night around 23:00 it was announced that the popular mayor of Peatland Caroline Cresson has been re-elected in the mayoral elections, with over 67% of the votes of Peatland citizens. Her re-election is interpreted as a sounds acceptance of the city council policy with a dedicated focus on sustainable futures, and also on livability and entrepeneurship. The mayoral election were held simultaneously with the city council elections. The Peatland council which is made up by 23 councilors of the five parties will elect, six aldermen in the first council meeting.
